Competition
Launch Canada is collaborating closely with students across Canada on exciting special projects. These projects have previously included a liquid rocket engine test fire, and more recently, a turbo pump project. Launch Canada runs a yearly competition called the "Launch Canada Challenge," which challenges student teams to design, build, and launch rockets to reach a specified altitude while carrying a payload. The competition provides students with the opportunity to develop their STEM skills, work as a team, and gain practical experience in the aerospace industry.

Launch Canada attracts a diverse group of participants, with over 1400 students from 26 different universities across Canada! Rocketry has emerged as the largest and fastest-growing area of student space-related activity in Canada, providing exciting new opportunities in the traditionally regional aerospace industry. Student rocket teams have been paving the way for aspiring aerospace professionals from regions where such pathways didn't exist before.

Rocketry is a challenging, multidisciplinary field that has limited past experience in Canada.
